Curcumin
Curcumin is normally obtained from the rhizome of turmeric (Curcuma longa) and has been generally used in traditional medicine due to its various restorative properties. It has antioxidant and pleiotropic effects by modulating multicellular signalling pathways such as inflammation, invasion, proliferation, metastasis and cell cycle.

GALLIC has an inhibitory effect on cells containing HPV; inducing apoptosis and killing cells containing the HPV genome. Therefore, the study suggested that GA may be a potential candidate for the development of anti-HPV agents and as a new avenue for the treatment of HPV infection.
